Dave started running equipment in high school and built Back Country from the ground up, with over 15 years in the industry. He still gets in the machine when the job's interesting enough. He runs the business alongside his wife Alannah, whose work behind the scenes keeps things moving, and when he's off the clock he's with his family at the cottage or down south.
Jason brings over 20 years in the industry, working up from general labour through foreman, sales, and project management before running his own company. Outside of work he's with his wife and three kids, on the ice, or at the cottage - and he'll take sushi over just about anything.
Kyra keeps the day-to-day running, bringing a background in real estate - licensed agent since 2024 and administrative assistant since 2025. Off the clock she plays basketball, lifts, and works on realism and watercolour art.
Justin has been with Back Country Group since May 2018 and likes the variety - fencing, excavating, septic, shop work, whatever's on the board. At home he's a husband and dad to two boys, with another on the way.
Six years in the trades across construction, carpentry, and machine operation, Dylan will take any job that has him running equipment or super trucking. He plays baseball in a couple of leagues, is serious about pickleball, and golfs when his wife lets him.
Five years with Back Country Group, and Caleb's pick of the work is pounding posts. Outside the job he's playing sports or with his family — and he's never broken a bone.
Josh has over five years between excavation and farming and likes staying busy across whatever's running that week. When he's not working he's hunting, fishing, seadooing, or sledding — time permitting.
Three years in, Caleb likes landscaping work and seeing a site come together at the end. He's on the water most weekends - seadooing, fishing, boating - and around the yard everyone calls him Chucky.
Josh keeps the fleet running, with over 5 years turning wrenches. He's the reason the machines are on site and working instead of parked. Outside the shop he's a husband and father.
Peter handles the hauling - material in, material out, on time.
