When a farm owner in Haldimand County wanted the property cleaned up and set up properly for daily use, Back Country was brought in to handle the full exterior.
The project covered cleanup around the property, re-grading, and installing wood board fencing with metal gates around the barn. The goal was a farm that works well for both the owner and the animals, and looks good doing it.

The Work:
Back Country cleared and cleaned up the exterior areas of the property, then re-graded the ground to improve how the site sits and drains. With the ground work done, the crew built new wood board fencing around the red barn and installed several metal gates to secure the animals and make moving around the farm easier. One crew handled the job from cleanup through the final fence line, so the grading and fencing were planned together.
The Back Country Difference:
On a working farm, the ground and the fence lines determine how the whole property functions. Poor grading leads to standing water, mud, and wear in high-traffic areas. Fencing and gates that are badly placed or failing make every chore harder and put animals at risk. When the grading is done first and the fencing is built to suit it, you get a property that’s easier to manage, safer for livestock, and holds up season after season.
Back Country offers grading, fencing, and site cleanup as part of a full range of site services for residential, agricultural, and commercial clients throughout Southern Ontario.
